Seeking adventure? Try indoor go-cart racing at K1 Speed. This indoor racetrack allows both adults and children to race at speeds upwards of 45 mph in a safe environment, where karts can be slowed down by a track supervisor. The karts are electric and environmentally friendly.
Racers are provided helmets, a head sock and instructions on how to operate the karts. K1 Speed is open seven days a week and can be rented out for parties.

Enjoy Miami’s lush landscaping at Hialeah Gardens Botanical Garden. Here, five verdant acres are home to more than 500 native species. This impressive garden houses more than 45,000 plants and a wide variety of native and non-native flora.
This popular destination is for pedestrians only, with no bikes, rollerblades, skateboards or pets allowed. The Botanical Garden is open every day and is free to the public.
Discover Cuban History At Assault Brigade Museum
Learn about how Cuban-Americans served during the Bay of Pigs invasion at the fascinating Assault Brigade Museum. The 5,300-square-foot museum has a library with memorabilia from the failed invasion, photographs from the CIA-backed invasion of Cuba and replicas of some of the weapons used in the battle.
The museum also displays one of the original B-26 bombers used during the training of Cuban exiles for the Bay of Pigs invasion, as well as an M41 Walker Bulldog Tank that is the same make and model as the tanks used by the 2506 during the battle.
The museum is closed on Sundays.
Cool Off At Westland Gardens Park
Westland Gardens Park is home to a large, heated pool and a well-equipped playground with a wet zone. It also features tennis and basketball courts for public use.
The park sponsors a variety of programs, such as a baseball league, a swim team, dance classes and a YMCA summer program. It also has two banquet halls that residents can rent out for parties.
Thrills And Chills At Golden Eagle Park
Golden Eagle Park is designed for children 12 years of age and under to enjoy. The three-acre park features a variety of slides and climbing structures for little adventurers.
Some of the park’s amenities include shaded benches, picnic areas, restrooms, a concession stand and gazebos, which can also be rented out for birthday parties or family celebrations.
Savor Fresh Seafood At Adrian Fish Market
Adrian Fish Market originally opened as a fish truck, but is now a sit-down destination known for its fresh catches and lively atmosphere.
Their menu offers flavorful dishes, ranging from whole fried fish and jumbo shrimp to fried calamari. Whole lobsters in garlic and creole sauce are also available, while lobster can be added to pasta dishes for extra flair. There’s an abundance of grilled fish on the menu, which customers can order to-go for convenience.
The restaurant offers a children’s menu with fried fish and chicken fingers.

Don Camaron is a family-owned restaurant with two locations. The Hialeah Gardens location offers dine-in, take-out and a full fish market for a convenient dining experience.
