Dine at one of these hot restaurants in Aventura.

Anchored by Aventura Mall and Turnberry Isle Miami, Aventura is a luxurious residential neighborhood known for its prime shopping, golfing and boating. It’s also home to some great Miami restaurants. From upscale eateries helmed by celebrity chefs to stylish places to grab a bite during a day at the mall, here’s where to eat in Aventura.

Bourbon Steak

One of Miami’s best steakhouses and Aventura’s top destination restaurant, Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak should be at the top of everyone’s restaurant list. Located inside Turnberry Isle with a sumptuous, yet playful design scheme, the dining room is outfitted in rich, varnished hardwoods with floor-to-ceiling, glass-encased wine cellars on view and buttery, tufted leather banquettes. Famous for their prime cuts of meat and duck fat fries, tantalizing menu options include a Maine lobster pot pie with truffle and brandied lobster cream, glazed beef short rib and A5 Japanese wagyu beef. 19999 W. Country Club Dr., Aventura, FL 33180.

Corsair Kitchen & Bar

Corsair Kitchen & Bar is another signature restaurant at Turnberry Isle serving up high end Italian fare by celebrity chef Scott Conant. The white-washed, wood-paneled dining room is vaguely nautical-themed with a marble bar, plush navy banquettes and hexagonal tiled floors. With a menu that changes seasonally, flat breads, salads and starters include duck confit poutine, matzoh ball soup and lump crab cakes. The fare is playful, inventive and sophisticated with main dishes range from gnocchi pomodoro to a burger topped with pancetta and fresh mozzarella to pan-seared diver scallops. 19999 W. Country Club Dr., Aventura, FL 33180.

Novecento is an elegant Argentinean bistro with an elegant European-style dining room. With its first restaurant in New York’s Soho neighborhood, Novecento has restaurants in Argentina and Uruguay, in addition to Miami. Start your meal with classic beef empanadas and ceviche con tostones, which are crispy, fried plantains. Then move onto main courses, which include a variety of steaks and pastas. Meat lovers will enjoy the picada criolla tasting platter meant for sharing, which includes skirt steak, chicken, sausages and the option to add sweetbreads, all served with their homemade chimicurri sauce. Pair your meal with a fine bottle of Argentinean wine and you’ll be set for a memorable meal. 18831 N. Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, FL 33180.

Adena Grill

Located within the Shops of Gulfstream Park and named for the ranch in Ocala where they source their meat, Adena Grill is an elegant steakhouse and wine bar decked out with colorful murals, crystal drop chandeliers, and taupe banquettes. Indulge in a chilled seafood platter with oysters, crab, lobster and shrimp cocktail to start your meal, then move onto their sumptuous entrees ranging from rib eye steak to Colorado lamb chops, wild caught salmon and even a vegetarian cauliflower “steak.” You’ll also want to load up on sides like baked Brussels sprouts, truffle fries and garlic mashed potatoes. 900 Silks Run, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009.

The Grill on the Alley

For the ultimate shopping lunch break, duck into The Grill on the Alley at Aventura Mall. Located by Bloomingdales with a rich, dark wood dining room, plush banquettes and an outdoor terrace, it’s the perfect place to rest your feet and your shopping bags to refuel on their menu of sandwiches, salads, burgers, steaks and more. Start with the spinach artichoke dip or steak tartare and then opt for an entrée salad like the grilled steak with avocado, asparagus, gorgonzola and red peppers over a bed of greens or go for the classic Cobb. Pair that with a glass of white wine and don’t skip dessert. The key lime pie and fudge brownie pie are to die for! 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, FL 33180.

Christine Lee’s

When you’re craving Chinese food in Aventura, head straight to Gulfstream Park where you’ll find Christine Lee’s. A family-owned business, originally established in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Christine Lee’s serves up a traditional menu of savory, crave worthy Chinese food with specialties including Peking duck, lemon chicken, shrimp with black bean sauce and Mongolian beef. Pair this with steamed or fried rice, egg rolls and wonton soup and you’ve got a feast. They also serve a full sushi menu with creative Florida-inspired rolls, like the marlin roll with salmon, crab, cream cheese and scallions. 900 Silks Run, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009.

Cheesecake Factory

Of course, you’re probably familiar with the Cheesecake Factory. Well, it just so happens to be an anchor restaurant at Aventura Mall and an excellent place for a lunchbreak while you shop. Their menu is the epitome of the “something for everyone” concept with over 250 menu items ranging from salads to burgers to pasta, seafood, steak, sandwiches, pizza, health food and more. And don’t forget about that mile long list of their namesake cheesecakes for dessert. 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, FL 33180.

Treats Food Hall

Opening in late 2017, Treats Food Hall is part of Aventura Mall's three-story addition and a welcome change from typical food court fare. Look for outposts of favorite Miami restaurants like Harry's Pizzeria and Serafina, along with outdoor and indoor seating and adult-size swings to relax and get off your feet after a busy day of retail therapy.

Cheen Huaye

Just south of Aventura city limits in North Miami is Cheen Huaye (pronounced "cheen why-yay"), a Southern Mexican restaurant with a devoted following. Chille relleno, ceviche, enchiladas, carne asada, tacos and more are prepared with Yucatan flair in an elegant setting. The corn tortillas are homemade and so are the margaritas.
