Bossa Fusion Quartet

Enjoy a vibrant evening of Brazilian jazz, bossa nova and fusion sounds performed live in a scenic oceanfront setting. Known for their dynamic synergy and genre-blending style, guitarist Tomati and vocalist Michelle Spinelli lead the Bossa Fusion Quartet in a special performance that showcases the richness of Brazilian music traditions.
Taking place on Sunday, May 25 at 5:00 p.m. as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, this free outdoor concert will be held in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy an open-air cultural experience.
Tomati, a renowned figure in Brazil’s jazz and television music scene, is celebrated for his work with the Programa do Jô house band. He formed a musical partnership with Spinelli in 2005, and together they developed a unique style blending Brazilian jazz-rock, contemporary bossa nova and Brazilian standards—earning them the nickname The Fusion Couple.
In case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to The Betsy Hotel. This series is presented by the Ocean Drive Association and generously supported by the City of Miami Beach and the GMCVB.
