Circus Day at the Miami Children’s Museum
May 09, 2026
From: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Circus arts take over the Miami Children’s Museum with a full day of performances, workshops and interactive activities designed for families. Taking place Saturday, May 9, the event transforms the museum into a circus-themed environment with programming spread across indoor galleries and outdoor spaces. Presented in collaboration with LADD Miami Circus Arts Center, the program introduces visitors to a range of circus disciplines through both demonstrations and hands-on participation.
Scheduled highlights include aerial silks and trapeze performances in the museum’s atrium, outdoor aerial shows and workshops featuring hammock and hula hoop techniques, and theater presentations of Zoolandia, combining professional performers and youth artists. Additional activities throughout the day include lollipop performances, face painting, balloon twisting and interactive activations in various gallery spaces.
All circus programming is included with regular museum admission, with discounted rates available for Florida residents and free entry for members and children under 12 months.
