Dashing Through the Springs 5K Run/Walk

A festive morning 5K invites runners and walkers to take in the tree-lined streets and historic surroundings of Miami Springs while supporting local community initiatives.
The Dashing Through the Springs 5K Run & Walk takes place on Saturday, December 21, beginning and ending at the Glenn H. Curtiss Mansion in Miami Springs. Hosted by the River Cities Rotary Club, the event features a scenic course that winds through residential neighborhoods and alongside the historic Miami Springs golf course, creating an accessible route for participants of all experience levels.
Race-day check-in begins at 6:30 a.m., with a 7:30 a.m. start. The 5K will be professionally timed by AccuChip Timing, providing accurate results for both runners and walkers. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club Foundation, which supports scholarships, senior assistance programs and other local service efforts. The River Cities Rotary Club has served the community since its charter in 1952.
Packet pickup, including bibs and event t-shirts, is scheduled for Friday, December 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hole 19, located at 650 Curtiss Parkway in Miami Springs. The first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative event t-shirt.
