Story-driven stand-up rooted in everyday life and barbecue culture shapes an evening of comedy with Dave Williamson at the Miami Improv Comedy Theatre. The performance takes place Thursday, April 16, offering audiences a set built on personal anecdotes, observational humor and a laid-back, conversational style. His material often draws on family life, road experiences and his well-known enthusiasm for grilling.
Williamson was named “Best Comedian in Miami” by Miami New Times before touring extensively across North America, including an 18-month run traveling with his family in a trailer—a journey later documented in a Nickelodeon digital series. He has been a finalist or “Best of the Fest” at multiple national competitions, including the World Series of Comedy and the San Francisco Comedy Competition. His album Trying My Hardest reached No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts, and he has appeared on podcasts such as The Adam Carolla Show and IDKAT with Jim Jefferies.
The show takes place in an intimate club setting with first-come, first-served seating. Guests must be 21 or older to attend, and a two-drink minimum applies inside the showroom.
