JADALAREIGN brings a house and techno-focused set to Jolene Sound Room Miami, drawing on the Black, Latinx and queer roots of underground dance music. The 21-and-over event takes place Thursday, May 28, with doors opening at 10 p.m. The lineup also includes CHAOS!, phiphi, Milo Ziro and Roll-e.
Raised as Jada Lorraine north of New York City, JADALAREIGN grew up around jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop and world music before moving into DJing, production and nightlife programming. Her sets often connect classic American house, techno, soul and jazz with contemporary club sounds, reflecting both her musical background and her work within Brooklyn’s underground dance scene.
Miami DJ CHAOS! adds a local voice to the night, with a house-oriented sound shaped by underground club culture and past appearances at venues and events including III Points, Floyd, Treehouse, Over Under and Eagle Room.
