Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a meaningful community walk dedicated to justice and equality. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Walk, hosted by the City of Opa-Locka Mayor and Commission, takes place on Saturday, January 18, starting at 9 a.m. at 151st Street and NW 27th Avenue.
This year’s walk is dedicated to the memory of Commissioner Ollie B. Kelley, reflecting on his contributions to the community while celebrating Dr. King’s vision of unity and progress. Participants are invited to join this impactful event as the community takes steps together toward fulfilling the dream of justice and equality.
