El Kiosko's Cinco de Mayo Block Party

A community block party in North Miami brings live music, food, raffles and a Cinco de Mayo theme to El Kiosko Latin Cafe. Taking place Saturday, May 2, the free event is presented by the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce with support from the City of North Miami.

The afternoon and evening gathering features live performances, festive food and drink specials and prize giveaways throughout the event. Registered attendees receive a complimentary empanada ticket and a mystery envelope with raffle entries, with additional entries available through purchases made during the block party.

A highlight of the evening is an empanada eating contest scheduled for 7 p.m., with contestants competing for a cash prize. The event also includes raffle drawings leading up to a grand prize, offering a casual, family-friendly setting for the community to gather ahead of Cinco de Mayo.
