Faena Jazz Series: Stella Cole
This event has passed.
A classic jazz repertoire receives a fresh interpretation when vocalist Stella Cole performs at Faena Theater on Wednesday, March 18, as part of the Faena Jazz Series.
Cole has emerged as a rising voice in contemporary vocal jazz, known for her polished stage presence and reverent yet modern approach to the Great American Songbook. Drawing inspiration from songwriters such as Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Sammy Cahn and Frank Loesser—and legendary performers including Nat “King” Cole and Frank Sinatra—she revisits classic standards with warmth and contemporary charm.
The young vocalist first gained widespread attention through viral performances shared online during the pandemic, quickly building an international audience. Since then, she has performed acclaimed residencies at storied venues including Birdland and Café Carlyle in New York and Duc des Lombards in Paris. Her recordings, produced by Matt Pierson, include three albums, most recently It’s Magic.
Check in begins 45 minutes before showtime. The performance is open to guests of all ages.
