Florida’s indie music scene takes the spotlight at the Miami Beach Bandshell in a night that combines music video screenings with live performances. Co-presented by FilmGate Miami and The Rhythm Foundation, the FilmGate Music Videos Festival showcases official selections from across the state, spanning genres and styles, alongside artist and filmmaker Q&As.
The program features more than 20 music videos, with highlights such as Heaven is as Hotel Room by Bryan Keith Adams, Mayami by Dulce Escalante, anime intro (NARCISSUS) by Buko Boys and The Tumble by Electric Kif. Beyond screenings, the evening includes meetups with labels, record stores and media, opportunities to connect with local scene-makers, and both audience and jury awards. A community vote will also decide which artists take the stage for live sets, blending the energy of concerts with the creativity of the screen.
The FilmGate Music Videos Festival takes place Thursday, September 25.
