Freedom Family Day at the Freedom Tower

Families can explore color, shape and movement through hands-on art and live music inspired by the exhibition Abstraction as Legacy at the Freedom Tower. The Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at Miami Dade College presents the free program on Sunday, September 27. Activities are designed for visitors of all ages.

Guest artist Nicole Combeau leads an art-making activity drawing on the exhibition’s use of color, form and abstraction. The program also features a live performance by Pazyflora, whose music incorporates rhythms from Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

Free parking is available in Miami Dade College’s Parking Lot 1, located on the south side of the Freedom Tower between NE Fifth and NE Sixth streets.
