Imaginarium

An installation centered on design, illustration and brand storytelling invites visitors to explore the imaginative world behind one of contemporary whisky’s most distinctive identities.

Imaginarium: The Fantastical World of Compass Box and Stranger & Stranger is on view from December 3 to January 4 at The Wolfsonian-FIU, marking Compass Box’s 25th anniversary with the brand’s first-ever art installation. The presentation brings together rare labels, early sketches, original artwork and working notes that trace the evolution of the long-running collaboration between Compass Box and design agency Stranger & Stranger.

Featuring archival material alongside finished designs, the installation highlights how visual concepting and craftsmanship have shaped each release, offering insight into the role of creativity and narrative in the development of the brand’s signature style.
