The WDNA Jazz Gallery spotlights Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Mark Small for an evening of world-class jazz performance and original compositions. With a career spanning Broadway, film, television and stages from the Sydney Opera House to Madison Square Garden, Small’s artistry bridges genres and generations.
Jazz Encounters: Mark Small takes place Friday, September 12. Known for his work with Michael Bublé, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society and numerous recording projects, Small also brings experience as a composer, arranger and educator at institutions including New World School of the Arts and Miami Dade College. His set at WDNA offers an intimate chance to hear a musician whose range and depth reflect decades of performance, collaboration and musical exploration.
