JAZZWRLD + Thukuthela

South African electronic music takes the spotlight at ZeyZey Miami with a Zaku Stage performance by JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. The concert takes place Saturday, June 20, presented by Guadium Entertainment. The duo, Kamohelo Monese and Kgotso Dube, are associated with the rise of 3-step, a South African dance sound connected to Afrohouse, Afro-tech and amapiano.

Born in Maseru, Lesotho and Daveytown, South Africa, JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela build their music around driving rhythms, electronic textures and vocal storytelling. Their collaborative work has helped bring 3-step to wider audiences, with recordings and collaborations that reflect the growing international reach of South African club music.

ZeyZey Miami is an open-air cultural venue with a beverage program, live music and food from Tacos María, which serves grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos. The event begins at 8 p.m.
