Just for Me: Brain Games
This event has passed.
A sensory-friendly morning invites families to explore how the brain works through hands-on activities designed for calm, self-paced learning.
Just for Me: Brain Games takes place on Saturday, February 21 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Part of the museum’s recurring Just for Me series, the program offers early access hours with environmental adjustments to support individuals and families with diverse sensory and accessibility needs.
During Just for Me hours, sound and lighting levels throughout the museum are modified to create a quieter, more comfortable experience. Select exhibits feature tactile and interactive elements that allow guests to engage with scientific concepts at their own pace. The Brain Games activation introduces the concept of neuroplasticity through a series of interactive challenges designed to show how the brain adapts, learns and strengthens over time.
The Just for Me series emphasizes inclusive exploration and connection, providing a welcoming environment for families to experience the museum while sharing resources and support.
