This event has passed.
Recurring weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Explore the large-scale, site-specific sculptural installation by Miami-based artist Kerry Phillips, Between the Mundane and the Miraculous, on display at The Bass Museum through October 22. The installation is made up of an assortment of home goods, scavenged objects and the contents of junk drawers. Phillips’ large-scale, sculptural and architectural creations are known for “making do” with scavenged or already-owned materials and using common objects in unexpected ways.
Between the Mundane and the Miraculous is a newly commissioned work and Phillips' first solo museum exhibition
Kerry Phillips earned an MFA from the University of Arizona and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions at various museums and galleries that include Orlando Museum of Art, Locust Projects, Pérez Art Museum Miami, Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, Boca Raton Museum of Art, and Bridge Red Projects.
