Spanish and Latin American orchestral music opens the Alhambra Orchestra’s 37th season with an annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Two performances take place Saturday, September 26, bringing the orchestra together with Músicos por Venezuela, conductor Daniel Andai and guest conductor Tarcisio Barreto Ceballos. The program includes selections from Bizet’s Carmen, Manuel de Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance, Teresa Carreño’s Margariteña and Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, alongside Venezuelan repertoire and popular favorites.

The 3 p.m. family-friendly performance features the Alhambra Orchestra and Músicos por Venezuela with guest artists from Siete Cuatro. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The 7:30 p.m. concert expands the program into an evening in support of Venezuela, with a portion of admission benefiting earthquake-relief efforts through All For Venezuela. The humanitarian organization has been coordinating medical supplies and other emergency aid for communities affected by the 2026 earthquakes. Evening tickets range from $35 to $65.
