The intimate, soulful tone of Maya Azucena’s music fills the air as she leads a celebratory evening marking David Sexton’s birthday.
Presented by Normandy Arts, Maya Azucena & Guests Celebrate David Sexton’s Birthday brings together Maya on vocals with Rick Leonard on piano and Marcos Aycox on violin, plus surprise guest performers. The show promises a holiday-inflected, audience-driven setlist (bring your song requests) in a warm, musical gathering.
David Sexton is known in Miami as a community builder and events producer active with organizations like SAVE, Young Musicians Unite, O Cinema and the City of Miami Beach. He also serves as President of the Marseilles Deco Condominium Association in Miami Beach.
The celebration takes place Sunday, December 14 at La Poubelle. Doors open at 7 p.m. for cocktails and dining prepared by Chef Benoit Rablat, with the show beginning at 8 p.m. This is a 21+ event. Tickets are $20 General Admission and $40 VIP, with a required food & beverage minimum of $25 per person.
