Soulful vocals and holiday warmth fill the room as Maya Azucena headlines an intimate evening in celebration of Miami Beach community leader David Sexton’s birthday.
Presented by Normandy Arts, Maya Azucena & Guests Celebrate David Sexton’s Birthday features Azucena joined by Rick Leonard on piano, Marcos Aycox on violin and special guest performers for a festive night of live music and audience requests.
Recognized for his work with organizations including SAVE, Young Musicians Unite, and O Cinema, Sexton has long been a supporter of Miami’s cultural and civic life. The celebration takes place Sunday, December 14 at La Poubelle. Doors open at 7 p.m. for cocktails and dining by Chef Benoit Rablat, with the performance beginning at 8 p.m. This 21+ event requires a $25 food and beverage minimum, with tickets priced at $20 for general admission and $40 for VIP.
