MOCA miniMakers: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Families are invited to a special MOCA miniMakers workshop celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through the art of weaving. Inspired by the work of acclaimed local artist Aurora Molina, the hands-on session introduces children and caregivers to creative techniques that blend cultural storytelling with artistic exploration.

Part of MOCA’s monthly series designed for families with children under 12, the program highlights the richness of Hispanic traditions while encouraging participants to engage their imagination and make their own woven creations. This interactive afternoon offers a meaningful way to celebrate culture and community through art.
