MOCA miniMakers: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the September edition of MOCA miniMakers is spotlighting the work of Mexican-American artist Maria De Los Angeles. Participants will create their own "hidden figure" painting and get lost in color.
MOCA miniMakers is a free series of art workshops for children ages six and up. Participating children will have access to a variety of art techniques, as well as an inclusive curriculum incorporating step-by-step guides, STEAM activation and creative free play. The workshops are taught by experienced artists and sponsored by the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency.
