MOCA X BLKNWS Brunch

Brunch and group discussion give film screening attendees a chance to continue the conversation at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. MOCA X BLKNWS Brunch takes place Sunday, June 14, following the June 11 screening of BLKNWS: Terms and Conditions at O Cinema. The gathering is intended for registered screening attendees and creates space for shared reflection, conversation and community connection.

Presented through a partnership between MOCA North Miami, Highlander Center, O Cinema and Green Banana Productions, the free screening features a cinematic work adapted from Kahlil Joseph’s video art installation. Structured like a record album, BLKNWS: Terms and Conditions weaves Black history, culture and consciousness through a mix of fictionalized historical figures, artists, musicians and real-time social media.

The Sunday brunch invites attendees to return to MOCA to break bread and discuss the film with fellow participants. Registration for the June 11 screening includes free brunch entry for the registrant and one guest, with a limit of two tickets. Space is limited, and early registration is recommended.
