Nervous Records Presents Kevin Saunderson

Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson brings a foundational chapter of electronic music history to ZeyZey Miami. Presented by Nervous Records, the event takes place Friday, May 29 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the Zaku Stage. The 21-and-over night centers on Saunderson’s enduring influence across techno, house and global club culture.

As part of the Belleville Three alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May, Saunderson helped define Detroit techno and carry its sound from underground experimentation to international dance floors. His projects include Inner City, known for genre-defining tracks such as “Good Life,” as well as E-Dancer and KMS Records, the label he founded as a platform for Detroit electronic music.

Saunderson’s influence extends through his productions, remixes and innovations, including the Reese bass sound that has echoed through techno, house, drum & bass and other electronic styles. Decades into his career, he continues to tour, produce and collaborate, maintaining a direct link between Detroit techno’s origins and its ongoing evolution.
