Opening: Liene Bosquê
Apr 25, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
An opening reception at The Wolfsonian–FIU introduces a new installation by artist Liene Bosquê exploring the afterlife of architectural forms. Taking place Saturday, April 25, the event marks the debut of What Still Stands, a project developed through the museum’s Creative Fellowship program.
The installation draws from Bosquê’s research into the Wolfsonian collection, examining how buildings and decorative elements continue to influence the present even after they have changed or disappeared. Her work engages with architectural history through contemporary methods, inviting reflection on memory, transformation and the persistence of design.
The morning reception offers an opportunity to view the exhibition, meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments. The event is followed by an in-person information session on the Wolfsonian’s Creative Fellowship program, focused on opportunities for artists working with digital media.
