Orchestra Miami's Season Preview Concert

Enjoy an intimate evening of chamber music with Orchestra Miami as they celebrate their 17th season with a preview concert introducing their cast of outstanding musicians. Led by artistic director Elaine Rinaldi, the chamber music ensemble includes Principal Clarinet Richard Hancock, Principal Cellist Aaron Merritt, Hornist Sharon Janezic, Co-Principal Flute Elissa Lakofsky, Oboist Kendra Hawley, Violinist Orlando Forte, Principal Trumpet Brian Neil, Bassoonist Gabrielle Hsu, Principal Horn Stanley Spinola, Cellist Phil Lakofsky, Principal Viola Gregory Falkenstein, and tenor Gerardo Jose Ortega. The performance takes place on Saturday, September 23 at St. John's on the Lake Church.
Encompassing a wide variety of compositions and styles, the program includes selections from Max Bruch’s 8 Pieces for Clarinet, Viola and Piano; Op. 83, the Sonata for Trumpet and Piano by Halsey Stevens;' the Andante for Horn and Piano by Richard Strauss; the Sonata for Cello and Piano by Mana-Zucca; the Concerto for Bassoon, K 191 by Mozart; and more.
Proceeds from the concert benefit Orchestra Miami. Choose from reserved seats in the front two rows for $50 per person, or General Admission seating by donation (suggested at $30 per person.) After the concert, there will be a reception with the artists.
