Paint Like Masters: Find your Art Style Art Class with MIFA

Frida Kahlo’s use of symbolism, color and personal narrative provides the starting point for a hands-on art workshop at Doral Central Park. Held Wednesday, September 23 as part of Hispanic Heritage Month, the class invites participants to examine how Kahlo translated emotions, memories and identity into visual art.

Artists Andrea Cardenal and William Alonso will guide participants in applying those ideas to an original work while exploring their own artistic styles. No previous art experience is required, and instruction will be offered in English and Spanish. The workshop is open to ages 16 and older. Registration is $15 per participant, with free parking available at Doral Central Park.
