Riva Starr + Seamus Haji

House music veterans Riva Starr and Seamus Haji bring decades of club, remix and label experience to ZeyZey Miami for a free night presented by Nervous Records. The Saturday, September 26 program pairs two London-based artists whose careers span underground house, disco and crossover dance music.

Riva Starr, the alias of Stefano Miele, is known for an eclectic approach to house and electronic music, as well as his Snatch! Records imprint. His catalog includes collaborations with Fatboy Slim, Green Velvet, Horace Andy and Dennis Cruz, along with appearances at festivals including Glastonbury and Fuji Rock.

Seamus Haji joins him in Tíma Disco, drawing on a career that began in London sound-system culture and expanded through house, disco and global club residencies. A longtime DJ, producer, remixer and label head, Haji has worked with Defected and Glitterbox and is known for tracks including “Weekend,” “Take Me Away” and his remix of “Boogie 2Nite.” Admission is free.
