Robert Longfield: A Celebration Concert

A concert honoring composer and conductor Robert Longfield highlights original works and arrangements performed by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band at the University of Miami. Taking place Sunday, May 17, the program marks the culmination of the ensemble’s season with a focus on Longfield’s musical contributions.

The performance features selections written and arranged by Longfield, who has served as the band’s music director for more than two decades. Known for his work in wind ensemble repertoire, his compositions and arrangements have been widely performed by concert bands across the United States.

Held at the UM Gusman Concert Hall in Coral Gables, the event concludes the group’s 47th season. Parking options include valet service and nearby campus parking facilities.
