SFPoC Anniversary Reception

An evening of unity, reflection and celebration unfolds in the heart of Overtown as South Florida People of Color marks a milestone in its mission to foster connection and belonging.

The SFPoC 10th Anniversary Reception takes place Thursday, September 18 at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater, honoring a decade of building spaces where stories are shared, relationships are deepened and community change takes root. Guided by the theme We All Matter – E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One), the gathering blends history, culture and vision for the future. Guests will enjoy elegant hors d’oeuvres, a grazing table, a signature cocktail and an open bar, alongside opportunities for networking and meaningful conversation. The program includes visionary community awards, a short video presentation and moments designed for genuine connection, all in support of SFPoC’s work to advance fairness, justice and belonging in South Florida.
