As part of Fairchild's after hours happy hour series, Sip & Stroll: Latin Nights takes place on Thursday, April 24 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, offering visitors a perfect blend of nature, music and culture.
The talented Basilio Marquez Jr., known professionally as Braidsman, will be performing two sets. Born in Las Tunas, Cuba, and raised in a family of musicians, Marquez brings authentic Cuban rhythms infused with modern elements, performing everything from traditional son and cha-cha to contemporary salsa and Latin jazz. His performances are scheduled for 6:45-7:45 p.m. and 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy specially crafted tropical cocktails available for purchase, participate in various coastal-themed activities, and indulge in delicious Latin-inspired cuisine. Food options include flavorful dishes that complement the evening's theme perfectly.
For those seeking an enhanced experience, exclusive add-ons are available, including a Picnic Basket for Two ($65) featuring black bean dip with plantain chips, choice of steak or vegetable chimichurri wraps, street corn salad, and guava tres leches for dessert.
