Sol Ruiz: MB Arts in the Parks

Sol Ruiz brings Positive Vibration Nation to the Miami Beach Bandshell for a free outdoor performance as part of the Miami Beach Arts in the Parks series. This original “rock guaguancó opera” blends Caribbean rhythms with technology, visual art, costume and storytelling to explore Miami’s cultural identity through an interdimensional journey from the year 3050 to today.

Created by Ruiz and co-commissioned by Miami Light Project, Beth Morrison Projects, and the National Performance Network, the production merges sound and spectacle with an uplifting message and Miami flair.

Presented by Rhythm Foundation in partnership with Miami Light Project. Food and beverages available for purchase; all programs are rain or shine. Admission is free and open to the public.
