Street Stages: LaVie
May 08, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM
Miami vocalist LaVie brings soul, jazz and pop to Flagler Street with a free outdoor performance in Downtown Miami. The Street Stages concert takes place Friday, May 8 in the historic Flagler District, across from Lost Boy and Over Under. Presented by Olympia Arts MIAMI, the series activates the corridor with live music and performances by local artists.
Born and raised in Miami by Haitian immigrant parents, LaVie draws on soul, Caribbean heritage and neo-soul influences in her music. She released her debut album, Life, in 2009 and has performed in cities including New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh, including opening dates for Ky-Mani Marley.
Street Stages is free and open to the public, with performances taking place along Flagler Street on Friday and Saturday evenings. The series is designed to bring singer-songwriters, jazz and pop ensembles, electronica, jugglers and performance artists into the public realm as part of Downtown Miami’s evolving streetscape.
