The Miami One Fest
May 29, 2026 - May 31, 2026
Fri & Sat: 8:00 PM | Sun: 6:00 PM
Solo performance takes center stage in a Spanish-language festival devoted to theater, dance, music and interdisciplinary work. The Miami One Fest runs May 29-31 at Sandrell Rivers Theater, showcasing contemporary Hispanic performing arts through productions built around a single performer. Created by Factory Theater, the festival highlights the artistic range and intensity required when one actor carries an entire work.
This edition features artists and companies from Colombia and the Dominican Republic currently based in New York, creating a dialogue between diasporic communities, international creators and Miami-based audiences. The program reflects the festival’s focus on new theatrical languages, experimental formats and cross-border cultural exchange.
The weekend lineup includes Chico raro, a musical performative piece from Colombia, on Friday, May 29 at 8 p.m.; Baca Teatro’s I’m Going Bald, from Colombia, on Saturday, May 30 at 8 p.m.; and a performance by CCN Theater USA from the Dominican Republic on Sunday, May 31 at 6 p.m. All performances are in Spanish and intended for adult audiences.
