Breaking, DJing, emceeing and other forms of artistic expression trace the development and cultural influence of Miami hip-hop. The performance takes place Saturday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Adrienne Arsht Center as part of the Arsht for Miami series. Ground Zero Crew is joined by other local artists for a multidisciplinary program highlighting the people and creative practices that shaped the city’s hip-hop community.
Founded in 1996, Ground Zero Crew helped establish Miami’s breaking scene and later gained international recognition as a world-champion crew. The Zero Ground Experience draws on that history while presenting hip-hop as a broader culture encompassing dance, music, storytelling and visual art.
Tickets are offered on a Pay What You Can basis, with free admission available and priority seating for guests who pay the listed minimum. Tickets are required for every attendee regardless of age, with a limit of six per household. Admission is first come, first served and priority entry expires 15 minutes before the performance.
A 20% parking discount is available on a first-come, first-served basis at official Arsht Center premium parking lots. Guests may use the code EXPERIENCE when reserving online or paying through the onsite QR code. Advance online reservations close two hours before the performance.
