We Met at the Sound Exchange

An interactive evening of music and collaboration brings together Miami artists and audiences in a brewery setting.

We Met at the Sound Exchange takes place Thursday, September 11 at Unseen Creatures Brewing & Blending, presented by We Met in Miami and Project Marcy. The program features performances and conversations with three local acts: Noyna, a duo blending Latin rhythms with bold, heartfelt lyricism; Lost Tapes Project, a collective fusing acoustic, soul, R&B and hip hop into intimate storytelling; and Giacomo, a Miami-born artist whose acoustic new wave sound draws on both Peruvian roots and South Florida influences. After spotlight sets, attendees will join breakout groups to co-create song concepts with the artists.

The evening concludes with performances of the collaborative pieces and a freestyle jam session open to audience musicians. Wristbands signal whether guests are looking for friendship, love or LGBTQIA+ connections. Craft beer, food and non-alcoholic options will be available throughout the night.
