Here’s our guide to the best restaurants to try during Miami Spice in Downtown Miami, including Italian, Middle Eastern, seafood and more.

Seaspice
With its festive atmosphere and yachts pulling up to the dock on a bend of the Miami River, Seaspice channels a South of France feeling with a decadent menu to match.
When it’s offered: Seaspice is offering 3 options:
- $40 brunch menus on Saturdays and Sundays
- $40 lunch menus Tuesday through Friday
- $65 dinner menus Tuesday through Sunday
What we're ordering: We love a good brunch party at Seaspice, and we’re already eyeing the truffle tagliatelle, short rib or smoked salmon benedict, and petit steak frites. For dessert, the chef’s selection of sorbet and ice cream is just the treat in this beautiful seaside summer setting.
Habibi Miami
Also on the Miami River, Habibi is a high-flying celebration of Middle Eastern culture with an experiential approach that includes costumed dancers, hookah, creative mixology and fine dining.
When it’s offered:
- $65 prix-fixe dinner menus Wednesday through Sunday.
What we're ordering: This luscious Middle Eastern feast includes your choice of branzino carpaccio, caramelized goat cheese cigars and kibbeh for your first course and an entrée choice of branzino, Kobe beef kofte and chicken kebabs. For dessert, the dark chocolate mousse and orange crème brûlée both sound amazing.
Giselle Miami
A rooftop restaurant and lounge crowning the iconic E11EVEN Miami night club, Giselle is an over-the-top dining experience for a luxe dinner party.
When it’s offered:
- $65 prix-fixe menus Wednesday through Sunday.
What we’re ordering: Get the party started with your choice of wagyu dumplings, tuna truffle cones and wagyu dumplings for your first course. Tempting entrees include filet mignon with piquillo peppers, Peking chicken, crispy whole snapper and a vegan truffle pomodoro pasta. For dessert, it’s tough to choose between the 24K peanut butter chocolate bar and the passion pavlova.

Toro Toro
Helmed by acclaimed chef Richard Sandoval, Toro Toro is a stylish Asian steakhouse with a pan-Latin approach in the marble-clad lobby of the InterContinental hotel.
When it’s offered:
- $65 three-course dinner menu seven days a week.
What we’re ordering: Entrees include everything from a 6-ounce tenderloin to kimchee grilled salmon and BBQ mole roasted airline chicken. To start, we’re choosing the surf and turf empanadas made with shrimp, lobster and lomo saltado and served with a yuzu avocado puree – though the Nikkei tuna ceviche also sounds delicious. For dessert, the choice is yours between a dulce de leche éclair and the grilled pineapple coconut upside down cake.
Casa Gianna
Set beneath a dramatic vaulted ceiling just off the lobby of the Gale Miami Hotel, Casa Gianna serves upscale Italian fare in a trendy and energetic space.
When it’s offered:
- $50 dinner menu Sunday through Thursday.
What we’re ordering: Entrée highlights include spicy rigatoni alla vodka and the branzino all puttanesca in a pomodoro sauce with capers, roasted vegetables and kalamata olives. To start, we love the beef capaccio and house-made fennel meatballs. End your evening with a sweet bite of either ricotta cheesecake or pistachio gelato.
La Boulangerie Boul'Mich
Channeling a Parisian bakery with a touch of Latin flair, La Boulangerie Boul'Mich is an essential all-day dining destination in the heart of Downtown Miami.
