Farm Shares

Explore CSA Farm Shares in Miami

By Jennifer Agress - October 14, 2025

The subtropical climate of Greater Miami & Miami Beach allows local farmers to grow regional and exotic fruits, vegetables and herbs all year long. And when some of this produce is at peak ripeness or in season, locals can sign up for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs, (or “farm shares”), and get weekly, bi-weekly or monthly boxes of delicious fruits, vegetables, eggs and other goods from local farmers and artisans.

These South Dade farms have some of the best farm shares for Miami foodies.

    NanasGreene CSA

Managed by Michael Borek, a third-generation farmer, NanasGreene CSA offers a weekly farm share in Miami from November through May.

Depending on the number of people in your household, you can choose from three different-sized boxes of locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs, such as heirloom tomatoes, peppers, spring mix lettuce, arugula, callaloo, lychees, Chinese water spinach, tomatillos and more.

    • Small boxes feed one or two people
    • medium boxes feed two or three people and
    • large boxes feed three or more people

Recipes are provided with each box, and payment plans are flexible to fit any budget. NanasGreene runs for a total of 27 weeks, but customers can join at any point and have their subscription prorated. You can pick up your box at specified pick-up locations every Wednesday and Thursday.

    French Farms

Tucked inside the 112-acre Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center, one of the Redland’s last native hammocks, French Farms shares a five-acre parcel of land with Little River Cooperative. Owner and agriculturalist Chris French uses regenerative farming practices centered around the health of the soil to grow nutrient-rich vegetables for the community.

From November through April, French Farms offers a weekly CSA Salad Share with lettuce, gem romaine heads or arugula as a base, plus a mix of seasonal vegetables, herbs, root crops, edible flowers and tropical fruits that, together, would make a delicious salad. Typical offerings include microgreens, radishes, carrots, turnips, cucumbers, sprouting cauliflower, cilantro, mint and much more.

Every week, participants of this CSA in Miami will get an email with details about what’s in the box, fun recipes to try with the included produce and updates about the farm. Boxes can be picked up on Saturdays and Sundays at one of four pre-assigned locations: French Farms, a private cooler in West Coconut Grove, Legion Park Farmer’s Market in Miami’s Upper East Side or a mobile in Biscayne Park.

Emphasizing the “community” in Community Supported Agriculture, French Farms allows participants to use the honor system and pay on a sliding scale. There are three price options – the true cost of the salad share, a low-income price and an increased benefactor price – and buyers are trusted to choose the most appropriate option based on what they are able to give.

    Tiny Farm

Committed to growing high volumes of nutrient-rich produce for Miami’s restaurants, Tiny Farm is a natural, chemical-free market garden in the Redland.

For 16 weeks, from November to April, customers can get weekly boxes with a dozen eggs, one pound of mushrooms, microgreens and five freshly harvested fruits and vegetables.

Farm share boxes can be picked up at Legion Park Farmers Market or at specified locations in Palmetto Bay, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Miami Shores, Aventura or Ft. Lauderdale. Participants can get home delivery and extra cartons of eggs for an additional cost.

    Paradise Farms

The 17-acre Paradise Farms in Homestead prides itself on harvesting nutrient-dense, delicious crops using organic and regenerative practices. For this farm share in Miami, customers can choose from a 13-week fall or spring season or combine them for a larger 26-week subscription.

Each week, members will get a box with peak-season microgreens, salad greens, four or five fruits and vegetables and a Paradise Farms culinary “staple,” such as a loaf of bread, a dozen eggs or cheese.

Exclusive recipes are included to inspire you to try new ways to enjoy your produce, and throughout the year, members can enjoy special cocktail events, seasonal surprise gifts and discounts for other Paradise Farms online orders and reservations. Due to availability, mushrooms are only included every other week.

Pick up your produce every Tuesday at designated locations: Paradise Farms, Grove Grocer (Coconut Grove), Maman Cafe Coral Gables (Coral Gables), Maman Cafe South Beach (Miami Beach), Love Life Cafe (Wynwood) or Verde Market Oakland Park (Fort Lauderdale).

Boxes can be delivered straight to your home for an additional fee.

Subscribe to a fall/winter CSA and get half- or full-share boxes of fruit, veggies, herbs, flowers and eggs delivered right to your door weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

From May to September, members of the farm’s popular Egg Lovers Fruity Summer (ELFS) program get farm share deliveries with two dozen eggs and a mix of local and exotic fruits – such as bananas, mangoes, papayas, avocados, mamey, longans, jackfruit, sugar apples, guava, egg fruit and dragon fruit.

Get farm-fresh, sustainable produce to your door with Green Tomato

    Green Tomato

Green Tomato, Miami-Dade County’s first sustainable produce delivery service, brings weekly, bi-weekly and monthly deliveries of fresh produce and other local food items to neighborhoods spanning Cutler Bay to Boca Raton.

Green Tomato offers different-sized tote bags of food, from “Cherry” (small) to “Campari” (XX-large), as well as themed bags like the “Detox” tote with cucumbers, celery, spinach, lettuce, ginger, turmeric, mint, apples and lemons.

Just choose a bag size, select what you want in it and check the farm’s website for designated delivery days to your area.

As a green, zero-waste facility, Green Tomato packs produce in reusable tote bags and tracks delivery carbon emissions to lower its carbon footprint.
