Plus, you can join the furious at Fast Lane Friday, a legal drag race zooming along the 1,760-foot track for anyone with a valid driver’s license ages 18 and up. 

K1 Speed 

If go-karts are more your speed – at 45 mph –  K1 Speed Miami in Medley is a great place to enter a friendly competition on a more controlled track. As an added perk, the tracks are indoors, which is ideal during the summer months. Plus, these go-karts are electric, which means zero fumes and better acceleration.

Dezerland Park 

If you’re up in North Miami, make sure to stop at Dezerland Park for all the family-friendly thrills. The whole family can get their fill in this 250,000-square-foot entertainment complex with extreme sports in Miami – from zip lining to rock climbing and go-kart racing – not to mention the trampoline park and ninja course (plus a mini ninja course for the youngsters). Still, there are virtual reality and arcade games to wind down after the rush. 

Treetop Trekking Miami 

Swing across the treetops over a jungle canopy on a zip line and conquer the ropes course with plenty of obstacles – Tarzan swings, balance logs, cargo nets and more – at Treetop Trekking Miami. Located on Watson Island between Downtown Miami and South Beach, the park has activities for adventurers ages 5 and up.

Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures

Once you’ve loaded up on extreme sports, consider Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures for the high-octane, exciting adventure you seek. Sitting off the 79th Street Causeway near North Bay Village, Miami Flyboard offers this unique and extreme excursion, where you’re instructed to stand on a board connected by a long hose to a jet ski that pumps high-pressure water through to propel you up to 60 feet in the air. The most Instagram-worthy moment by far, flyboarding is nothing if not incredibly fly.
