AfriKin: Art, Jazz and Champagne takes place on Sunday, March 22 at the Scott Galvin Community Center in North Miami, as part of Women’s History Month. Presented by AfriKin, this annual affair features an all-women art exhibition alongside live jazz performances and champagne toasts.
The evening’s musical program pays tribute to women pioneers of jazz, drawing inspiration from artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone while also acknowledging contemporary innovators. Visual artworks by women artists are presented throughout the venue, creating a setting that emphasizes artistic expression, resilience and cultural exchange. Admission includes a complimentary glass of champagne and African tapas, and the event is open to the public.
