Amanda Season Keeley: Language is liquid
Through May 03, 2026

An Oolite Arts Windows @ Walgreens exhibition on Miami Beach explores the fluid nature of language through light, landscape and text. Language is liquid by Amanda Season Keeley transforms a storefront window into a meditation on how meaning shifts over time.
On view from February 11 through May 3 at Walgreens on 74th Street and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach, the installation features layered panels depicting the shoreline at sunrise and sunset. These transitional moments, where light and water blur, mirror the way language evolves through context, memory and place. The illuminated phrase “Language is liquid” anchors the work, reinforcing its central theme of words in constant motion.
Keeley, a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice engages typography, printmaking and bookmaking, examines how language operates as both a visual and social system. Installed in a public-facing storefront, the exhibition invites passersby to consider meaning as something experienced, interpreted and continually reshaped.
