A career built on lyrical intimacy and melodic warmth comes into focus as Andrés Cepeda brings his Bogotá La Gira tour to Miami. Known for songs that explore love, memory and emotional nuance, the Colombian singer-songwriter delivers performances shaped by storytelling and close connection with the audience.
Cepeda first gained recognition in the 1990s as a member of the rock band Poligamia before launching a successful solo career that established him as one of Latin America’s most enduring voices. Over the past two decades, he has released multiple chart-topping albums and earned numerous honors, including several Latin Grammy Awards. His music moves fluidly between pop, ballad and bolero, drawing on classic romantic traditions while maintaining a contemporary sensibility. Signature songs such as “Día tras Día,” “Besos Usados,” “Lo Mejor Que Hay en Mi Vida” and “Por el Resto de Mi Vida” have become staples across Latin radio and live stages.
Andrés Cepeda performs Friday, May 8 at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.
