Anees brings his genre-blending mix of pop, R&B, hip-hop and acoustic warmth to ZeyZey Miami on The Lucky Duck Tour. The performance takes place Wednesday, September 2, at 7 p.m. on the Zaku Stage, with a full-band set built around high-energy moments, intimate ballads and improvisational freestyles.

Based in Northern Virginia, Anees broke through with songs that pair melodic hooks with themes of self-love, vulnerability and connection. His early single “slip” drew wider attention after a public co-sign from Justin Bieber, while “sun and moon” became his signature hit, topping the Billboard Philippines Songs chart and later reaching a broad global audience.

The ZeyZey show is expected to include tracks such as “sun and moon,” “leave me,” “slip,” “drunk on myself,” “free me” and “so long,” along with newer material from The Lucky Duck Tour. Known for encouraging audience participation and spontaneous moments, Anees often incorporates freestyle sections and rubber duck giveaways into his live shows. ZeyZey Miami is an open-air cultural venue in Little Haiti known for live music, DJ events, craft cocktails, natural wines and food from Tacos María, including grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos.
