A late-night lounge at the historic Opa-locka Train Station offers a relaxed way to close out Art of Transformation.
The Cocktail & Cigar Lounge, presented by Ten North Group, runs December 3-4 from 9 p.m. to midnight, creating an intimate setting where craft cocktails, fine cigars and Miami Art Week energy converge. The pop-up is part of the 13th annual Art of Transformation, a multi-venue program that spans six exhibitions across two city blocks and highlights contemporary art from the African and Caribbean diasporas. Guests are encouraged to explore the daytime exhibitions before settling in for this evening gathering.
On Wednesday night, the lounge features live jazz sets by saxophonist Simon Mogul, whose sound blends the spiritual intensity of Coltrane and Rollins with modern hip-hop and R&B influences. An internationally touring musician, Mogul leads an award-winning quintet and performs with renowned jazz artists; his debut album is slated for release in 2025.
Set within the landmark Opa-locka Train Station, the lounge offers a stylish, open-air environment with free parking on site.
