Celebrate a milestone in theatrical world music as an Emmy Award-winning guitarist brings two decades of global rhythms and dynamic dance to the stage.
On Sunday, September 28 at 5 p.m., Benise: 25 Years of Passion! arrives at The Moss Center as part of the artist’s 25th Anniversary Tour and 8th PBS special. Blending Spanish guitar with styles ranging from Cuban salsa and Brazilian samba to Parisian waltz and rock anthems, the production features an international ensemble of musicians and dancers performing original compositions alongside reimagined classics like “Ave Maria,” “Moonlight Sonata” and Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”
Often described as “The Latin Riverdance,” Benise’s touring production has become one of the longest-running Latin-themed theatrical shows worldwide. Known for his appearances on Dancing With the Stars, Benise combines music, movement and stagecraft into a family-friendly, two-hour concert experience designed to celebrate cultural fusion and creative expression.
A limited number of VIP Soundcheck Packages are available, offering early access to the venue, a behind-the-scenes look at the soundcheck, a meet-and-greet with Benise and cast, premium seating and other exclusive perks. The VIP experience runs from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the day of the performance.
