Bill Baggs Annual Full Moon Party
Mar 07, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
A moonlit celebration returns to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park with an evening of live music, dancing and coastal atmosphere beneath one of Miami-Dade County’s most historic landmarks.
Held beside the 200-year-old Cape Florida Lighthouse, this annual Full Moon Party transforms the park into an open-air gathering space overlooking the ocean. The night features live performances by the Bay Kings Band, known for their brass-driven sound, alongside DJ Lupa, with dancing set against the glow of the full moon and the lighthouse’s bicentennial backdrop.
Tickets include thoughtfully curated food and drinks, handcrafted signature cocktails, select wines and artisan brews, and an annual collectible Pirani cup. Early arrivals have the opportunity to climb the lighthouse, while access to the Keeper’s Cottage Museum and gift shop remains open throughout the evening. A surprise 2026 theme brings additional visual and experiential elements to the celebration, with an event photographer on site to capture the night.
Proceeds from the event directly support the preservation of the Cape Florida Lighthouse, as well as the development of new educational signage and the Keeper’s Cottage interpretive museum.
This event is for guests ages 21 and over. The lighthouse grounds include sand, grass and gravel; casual chic attire and comfortable footwear are recommended.
