Running from September 10 through September 25, the festival returns in hybrid format with a week (September 10 - 16) of in-person screenings and two weeks (September 10 - 25) of virtual festival events. Founded by Adriana L. Dutra, Cláudia Dutra and Viviane B. Spinelli, BRAFF is the pioneer film festival exclusively dedicated to Brazilian films in the United States. BRAFF is produced with the support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the City of Miami Beach Cultural Affairs Council, American Airlines, E! Entertainment TV and the General Consulate of Brazil in Miami.

The festival kicks off on September 10 with outdoor screenings at New World Center Soundscape Park, followed by competitive screenings through the 16th at Tower Theater, where new Brazilian films compete for the Crystal Lens Award. On the 17th, the highly-anticipated Closing Awards night takes place at the Miami Beach Bandshell with a performance by renowned Brazilian singer/songwriter Adriana Calcanhotto and the presentation of the Crystal Lens Award to the winning Brazilian film. Actress Dira Paes will also be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in celebration of her successful career. The festival also features live talks, panels with industry experts and masterclasses. For the latest updates, view the full schedule on the Inffinito festival page.
