A festive holiday concert fills St. Dominic Catholic Parish as the Florida Chamber Orchestra marks its 30th anniversary with Christmas Is in the Air.
On Sunday, December 21, the orchestra, led by conductor Marlene Urbay, presents an evening of classic Christmas repertoire shaped by the glamour and swing of the Big Band era. Vocalist Maylú joins as featured soloist, bringing expressive interpretations of seasonal favorites, while illusionist Alexander Blade adds a touch of theatrical magic to the program.
Presented in partnership with Miami-Dade County Auditorium, the performance is part of MDCA’s Very Merry Holiday Season and the venue’s ongoing Away From Home Series, which offers off-site cultural programming during MDCA’s renovation period.
This seasonal concert invites audiences to experience holiday music, orchestral artistry and celebratory flair in an intimate parish setting.
