A rising force in Puerto Rico’s new wave of genre-blurring bands brings its Primavera Tour 2026 to ZeyZey Miami for an open-air night of rhythm, protest and Caribbean groove.
Formed in 2019 in Isabela by siblings Lorén, Willy and Wester Aldarondo alongside longtime friend Adrián López, Chuwi has quickly built a following for music that fuses salsa, plena and indie-pop textures with pointed reflections on Puerto Rican identity, migration and gentrification. Their breakout collaboration “WELTiTA” with Bad Bunny introduced the band to a global audience and led to appearances on his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos as well as performances during his concert residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
Beyond high-profile co-signs, Chuwi’s catalog, including tracks such as “Tikiri,” “Escúchame” with PJ Sin Suela and “Tierra,” highlights the group’s ability to channel traditional island rhythms into contemporary, youth-driven arrangements. The Primavera Tour marks their second U.S. run, with Miami serving as one of the final stops before the tour’s close.
ZeyZey Miami provides the open-air cultural backdrop, featuring a curated beverage program of seasonal cocktails, natural wines and nonalcoholic options. On-site dining is powered by Tacos María, serving grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos made with unapologetic flavor and zero shortcuts. This event is 18+.
