Clean Miami Beach: Cool Summer Nights Beach Cleanup

An evening shoreline cleanup invites volunteers of all ages to help remove litter from the beach at 21st Street in Miami Beach. Clean Miami Beach: Cool Summer Nights Beach Cleanup takes place Thursday, August 20. Organized by Clean Miami Beach, the volunteer event supports ocean and coastal protection, with community service hours available for participants who arrive on time.

Volunteers will meet oceanfront near the lifeguard tower and should look for the turtle flag. Cleanup supplies, including sanitized gloves, buckets, bags and pickers, will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, wear reef-safe sun protection and choose closed-toe shoes for cleaning near the dunes.

Limited metered parking is available nearby at 334 23rd Street, about a seven-minute walk from the meeting point.
