Clean Miami Beach: Turtle Tuesday Beach Clean Up
Jun 17, 2025
From: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Help protect local marine life and reduce plastic waste during an evening beach cleanup focused on ocean conservation and community engagement. Volunteers will collect litter along the shoreline and dune areas near 29th Street in Miami Beach, supporting efforts to keep coastal habitats safe for sea turtles and other wildlife.
The Turtle Tuesday Beach Clean Up, organized by Clean Miami Beach, takes place Tuesday, June 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the beach at 29th Street. The event is co-hosted by The Miami Beach EDITION with support from Delta Air Lines, ECF Wealth, William Grant Foundation, the City of Miami Beach, popqueen and Ethique Beauty.
Cleanup supplies—including sanitized gloves, buckets, bags and pickers—will be provided. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for working near the dunes, and participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and wear reef-safe sun protection. The group will meet at the oceanfront, marked by a turtle flag. Metered street parking is available nearby, with an additional lot located at 2660 Collins Avenue.
All ages are welcome. Community service hours are available for participants who arrive on time.
