Kids can tap into hands-on creativity this season as a holiday pop-up at CityPlace Doral turns crafting into an immersive workshop experience.

Elf-Factory runs November 1-December 30 and offers guided sessions where children build toys and seasonal crafts with support from trained staff. Designed to make holiday projects approachable and engaging, the workshops introduce young makers to activities such as toy painting, clay sculpting, ornament decorating and creative building. Each session includes multiple projects, all materials and take-home pieces suited to two age tiers: 3–5 and 6+.

Special workshops for ages 3 through adult add single-project options such as toy assembly, plush creation, Christmas pajama painting and other holiday-themed activities. Sessions run 45–90 minutes depending on format and use professional craft materials.

The pop-up operates Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m., with extended hours during holiday weeks. Convenient parking is available, and walk-ins are welcome.
